Who we are
Sportsintown is a sports event discovery service built for tourists and groundhoppers. It is operated by Blackfield Labs. You can contact us at nenad.stojkovic@blackfieldlabs.com.
What data we collect
Browsing Sportsintown requires no account and we collect no personal data from anonymous visitors.
If you sign in with Google to save events, we receive from Google and store:
- Your email address
- Your display name
- Your Google profile picture URL
We also store the list of events you choose to save.
Why we collect it
Your email is used solely to identify your account across sessions. Your name and profile picture are displayed in the site header when you are signed in. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than operating your saved events list.
Legal basis (GDPR)
We process your data on the basis of your consent, given at the point of signing in with Google. You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account (see below).
Cookies and sessions
We use a single session cookie (a signed JWT) to keep you signed in between visits. No analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party tracking scripts are used.
Data storage
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted in the EU. We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal data to third parties, except Google (the sign-in provider you choose to use).
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email nenad.stojkovic@blackfieldlabs.com and we will respond within 30 days.
You may also sign out at any time using the sign-out button in the header. This removes your session cookie but does not delete your stored data.
Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as you have an account with us. If you request deletion, we will remove your email, name, profile picture, and saved events within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. We will not reduce your rights under this policy without explicit notice.
